What Is Spiritual Direction?
Spiritual direction is a sacred conversation centered on your relationship with God. Together, we create a space for prayer, reflection, and deep listening so you can become more aware of God's presence in your life.

Rather than offering advice or easy answers, spiritual direction invites you to pause, notice, and discern how God may be inviting you to grow, heal, and move forward with greater freedom and peace.
Spiritual Director vs. Spiritual Companion
Many people use the terms Spiritual Director and Spiritual Companion interchangeably.

While "spiritual director" is the more familiar title, "spiritual companion" beautifully reflects the heart of this ministry, walking alongside another person with deep listening, compassion, and respect.

Whatever the title, the purpose remains the same: creating a sacred space where you can become more aware of God's presence in your life.
The Practice of Deep Listening
Deep listening is at the heart of spiritual direction.
Together, we listen not only to the words you speak, but also to the deeper movements of your heart. We pay attention to moments of joy, resistance, longing, peace, uncertainty, consolation, and invitation. Rather than rushing toward solutions, we make space for silence, reflection, and prayer, trusting that God often speaks gently through the ordinary moments of our lives.

This kind of listening is rooted in curiosity rather than judgment, presence rather than fixing, and openness rather than certainty.
Seeking Connection
At its core, spiritual direction is about relationship.
As we become more aware of God's loving presence, we often discover greater compassion, freedom, gratitude, and hope in our everyday lives.
No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome to bring your whole self into this conversation.
Rooted in Relationship
Spiritual direction is ultimately about relationship.

As we grow in awareness of God's loving presence, we often find ourselves becoming more connected, not only to God, but also to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us.

Every session is grounded in these values:
Deep Listening
Every person deserves to be heard with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
Sacred Presence
Transformation begins when we slow down enough to notice God's loving presence in our lives.
Hospitality
All are welcome, regardless of faith tradition, spiritual orientation, background, or where they find themselves on life's journey.
Discernment
Rather than rushing toward answers, we learn to notice where God is inviting greater freedom, love, and peace.
Compassion
We meet ourselves and one another with gentleness, honesty, and grace.
Hope
Even in seasons of uncertainty, we trust that God continues to work in quiet and unexpected ways.
